Can the Ease a Cold product be used by people taking blood thinning medications?

If you are on medication, please make sure to check with your healthcare professional. Some of the Ease a Cold products contain herbs like Andrographis paniculata , Allium sativa, Zingiber officinale and Salix Alba - White Willow, which may have the potential, if used at high doses, to assist blood thinning. It is therefore recommended to be used cautiously and under observation when on blood thinning medication.

Can I use the Ease a Cold product in Pregnancy?

Some Ease A Cold products contain a number of traditional medicinal herbs that have not been scientifically assessed for their use during pregnancy. It is therefore advisable to be very cautious during this time and to consult your healthcare professional before use.

What is the amount of Zinc supplementation I can take per day? Can I take Ease A Cold products with other zinc supplements?

The TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration) recommends not to exceed 50mg of total elemental Zinc per day. Therefore to be on the safe side it is best not to exceed this daily dose from all supplements, unless recommended by your health care professional.

What are the Ease a Cold Capsule made from?

Gelatin, which is a virtually colourless and tasteless water-soluble protein from a Bovine (cow) source.

Do the Ease a Cold products contain artificial sweeteners, gluten, lactose, dairy or artificial flavours?

Please always check the "free from"€ or "no added"€ information on each product pack. Most Ease A Cold products do NOT contain artificial sweeteners, gluten, lactose, dairy or artificial flavours.

Yes, a small amount of soy bean oil is used as a preservative.

Why do the some of the Ease A Cold products taste so strong?

Most Ease a Cold products contain herbal extracts, which unfortunately also may have a very distinct taste. We do our best to disguise the natural flavours of herbs when needed, but children, in particular, may find the tastes sometimes a little unusual and may need time to get more familiar with the product.

Can I use the day time capsule in place of the night time capsules?

It is usually best to follow the general recommended directions and dose, as the products are formulated to be used in this way or consult with your healthcare professional.
