what are skin tags

What are skin tags?

Skin tags are soft, skin coloured (or slightly darker) and protrude from the skin, usually on a stem. They are also known as acrochordons and are benign & not contagious.
People generally want to remove them because they are unsightly. However, another reason to remove them is because they can be irritating (with shaving for example).
You can find skin tags on the neck, shoulders, eyelids, under the armpit & under the breasts and the genitals.
